    We are seeking an Area Manager who will be responsible for performing a leadership role to monitor financials, staffing, regulatory compliance, and policy and procedure implementation. In this position you will be responsible for managing operations, clinical and sales for multiple branch locations within your territory.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensures Area Manager audits for clinical, operations, and sales are completed for each location at least twice per year
    • Ensures that any deficiencies noted on the audit are resolved in a timely manner
    • Works closely with Region Manager to implement policies, protocols, programs, companyinitiatives, and tools to improve performance and achieve company goals
    • Monitors staffing levels, expenses, equipment utilization, and inventory to ensure maximum location and area performance
    • Executes budgets within the Area and locations, identifies negative variances and uses sound business practices to correct
    • Hires subordinate staff and ensures they receive adequate training and have competencies on file for tasks requiring documented competency per policy and procedure
    • Ensures that area complies with operational procedures, regulatory compliance, and JCAHO regulations
    • Evaluates Location Managers (LCM) for accountability, performance, and productivity and provides feedback, coaching, and training
    • Works with management to implement growth plan and manages the Location Manager and Sales Representatives to market core service and products
    • Conducts field travel with sales team to assess effectiveness of sales efforts and to provide coaching opportunities
    • Provides leadership and accountability within Area
    • Accountable for revenue growth and area profitability management
    • Monitors financial reports of area and locations looking for opportunities to improve performance and implementing timely corrective action plans
    • Keeps updated on industry and market place trends
    • Manages a process that tracks and measures the performance and productivity of the area sales team
    • Ensures that all employees in assigned area are trained and knowledgeable with all Medicare regulations and compliant with the Medicaid regulations in the states in which they operate
    • Involved in all aspects of recruiting for operations, sales and clinical staff

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree plus a minimum of three years directly-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
    • Previous management experience
    • Valid drivers license in state of residence
    • Contingent upon passing a drug screen and background investigation
    • Candidates must live within 75 miles of the territory
    • Previous clinical experience preferred
    • Previous sales experience preferred

    Physical Demands:

    • Travel extensively via airplane and/or vehicle
    • Utilize computer for extensive hours
    • Lift and carry up to 50lbs during travel
    • Regularly review documents with small print
    • Requires occasional lifting and transporting of patient equipment
