    We are seeking a dedicated Field Trainer.  This position is responsible for training Cash Collections Center (CCC) staff on process flow, Rotech policies and procedures, payor qualifications, medical necessity, documentation requirements, eIntake and IMBS functionality. Position works directly with the CCC Director and CCC Manager to ensure training is effective and efficient. Ensures consistency with company ethics, standards, policies and procedures, and ensures government compliance guidelines, and all regulations are followed.

    Responsibilities

    • Reports to the CCC Manager the status of all training projects
    • Responsible for on-site CCC training to include problems identified by the CCC Managers, supervisory staff, or Internal Audit (e.g.; excessive paperwork errors, payer education, timeliness issues, working reports assistance and etc.)
    • Responsible for development of written and electronic training materials
    • Work directly with Director and Manager to plan and prepare for CCC new hire training
    • Responsible for ongoing training of CCC staff as new processes or process failures are identified.
    • Reports findings and resolution of problematic issues and areas as well as general guidance to the CCC staff on how to manage and prevent similar situations from reoccurring
    • Ensures consistent communication of the CCC process flow, compliance information including policies and procedures, payer rules and regulations by utilizing available mechanisms (i.e., DME regional center websites, internal and external newsletters, web boards, inter-company websites, reimbursements Q/A, etc.)
    • Provides clear documentation on training for each CCC associate
    • Participates in department and company meetings, events, etc., as determined by Supervisor
    • Submits reports to CCC Director regularly and upon request
    • Remains current in Company processes and changes through review of pertinent publications, newsletters, workshops and self-study
    • Creates and maintains constructive working relationships with management staff and executive staff
    • Completes projects and other duties as may be assigned

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare or related field is desired and a minimum of one year directly-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and directly-related experience in Durable Medical Equipment Prosthetics Orthotics & Supplies (DMEPOS), billing and collections, and training
    • Experience in Rotech operations preferred
    • Experience with customer service
    • Experience with Medicare coverage/billing guidelines for DMEPOS is preferred
    • Extensive experience with IMBS and/or eIntake preferred
    • Knowledge of durable medical equipment or home medical equipment
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean record in the state in which you reside
    • Employment is contingent upon a drug screening test and background investigation

    • Write detailed reports, summaries and action plans

    • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization

    • Ability to work with minimal to no supervision
    • Ability to identify, interpret and evaluate problems and determine appropriate resolutions
    • Knowledge of federal payer program regulations and guidelines
    • Physical Demands
    • Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking or listening
    • Requires close vision to small print on computer and or paperwork
    • Travel extensively via airplane and/or vehicle
    • Lift and carry up to 50lbs during travel

    Machines, Equipment and Technical Abilities

    • Understanding use of all applicable home medical equipment and supplies
    • Using common office equipment (e.g., phone, copier, fax, computer, etc.)
    • Internet, including knowledge of email transmission and communication, internet navigation and research
    • Microsoft applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, etc.
    • Remote access interface and communication
    • Moderate Web based education
    • Rotech IMBS

    Work Environment

    • Multiple office environments, low to moderate noise levels

    Departmental Interaction

    • Position will interact extensively with operations, field managers, and CSC operations
    • Position will regularly interface with corporate personnel and field personnel
