    We are seeking a dedicated Market Manager who wants to be part of a company who makes a difference in patient’s lives. In this position you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of company operations for multiple branches within your geographic region. This person will exercise management principles to ensure profitability, control assets, and communicate company philosophy and objectives to the staff and community.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Works closely with Region or Area Manager to implement policies, protocols, programs, company initiatives, and tools to improve performance and achieve company goals
    • Monitors staffing levels, expenses, equipment utilization, and inventory to ensure maximum Market performance
    • Executes budgets within the Market, identifies negative variances and uses sound business practices to correct
    • Hires subordinate staff and ensures they receive adequate training
    • Ensures that Market complies with operational procedures, regulatory compliance, and JCAHO regulations
    • Evaluates subordinates for accountability, performance, and productivity and provides feedback, coaching, and training
    • Accountable for revenue growth and Market profitability management
    • Monitors financial reports of Market looking for opportunities to improve performance and implementing timely corrective action plans
    • Manages a process that tracks and measures the performance and productivity of the Market sales team
    • Drives sales initiatives for Market
    • Ensures that competency testing has been performed and documentation is on file for all employees as required by Rotech’s policy and procedures.
    • Effective managment of overtime costs
    • Ensuring a safe respectful environment focused on diversity, inclusion, and fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
    • Maintaining an atmosphere of accountability where employees are held responsible through documented coaching/counseling when their performance does not meet Rotech standards.

    Other Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ensures project deadlines and performance standards are met
    • Ensures that all employees are adhering to policies and procedures
    • Ensures achievement of A/R objectives for the Market
    • Provides a safe working environment for all employees in compliance with all federal, state and local laws including: DOT, FDA, EEOC, OSHA and other agencies
    • Understands and implements medical regulations and guidelines for reimbursement
    • Performs other duties as required or assigned

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the supervision of employees within the Market
    • Maintains sales team profiles, active referral account information and market analysis data within Market
    • Maintains appropriate documentation regarding personnel performance
    • Manages professional development plans for all direct reports

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelors degree plus a minimum of three years directly-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience highly desired
    • MBA preferred
    • Previous sales experience required
    • Previous management experience required
    • Previous clinical or DME experience a plus

     Physical Demands:

    • Light lifting may be required occasionally to stock inventory or office supplies

    Certifications, License, Registrations: 

    • Valid drivers license in state of residence 

    Communication Skills: 

    • Effective oral and written communication skills
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Must be able to clearly communicate expectations and information in both one-on-one and group settings

     Analytical Skills: 

    • Effective decision-making skills
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Understanding of basic financial analysis
    • Able to review and understand a variety of financial, employee performance, and management reports and apply to management of personnel
